The Galaxy A9 Pro is exclusive to China, but rumors suggest the mobile device may soon land in other countries.
The Galaxy A9 Pro with model number SM-A910F has been spotted on Indian export and import tracking website Zauba, which hints that Samsung is planning to launch a non-Chinese variant of the phone.
The Galaxy A9 Pro sports a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen with a display resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
A 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and 4 GB of RAM power the device. The Galaxy handset has 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card slot.
Smartphones are commonly used for taking images indoors as well as outdoors. Keeping this in mind, the company has equipped the Galaxy A9 Pro with impressive camera features. The mobile phone has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera (f/1.9 lens) with autofocus, LED flash and optical image stabilization (OIS) for taking better quality images even in dim conditions. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera (f/1.9 lens) for taking quality selfies and video chat.
The Galaxy A9 Pro has a big 5,000 mAh battery that offers long usage to customers. It has a metallic design, which gives a premium feel to the handset.
It comes running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box, which means customers can access some of the novel features of Google's latest mobile operating system.
The Zauba listing does not indicate the markets in which the Galaxy A9 Pro will launch. However, reports suggest that a Polish retailer has started taking preorders for the Galaxy device, which means the handset may launch in Europe anytime.
The Galaxy A9 Pro has a price tag of 3,499 Yuan, or about $533. Customers in Europe and other regions will hope the price of the handset would be similar to what it is in China.
Samsung has not yet officially announced its plans to launch the Galaxy A9 Pro outside China, which means that rumors regarding the device's launch in Europe or any other part of the world should be taken with a pinch of salt.
