How to root Samsung Galaxy Core Plus
Rooting Android is what we call getting administrator permissions over the internal Android system that’s based off the Linux kernel. For those of you who know the Windows operating system, it would be the equivalent of getting administrator permissions. The reason why people want root access on Android is to get access to the apps on the Google Play Store that require root access to work. The other reason is sometimes you need root access to install a custom recovery. It’s the custom recovery and not the root access that allows us to install a custom ROM. You won’t find many custom ROMs available for this device, however, since it’s not as popular as developers would like.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have the Samsung Galaxy Core Plus to follow this guide. You will find many other Samsung-based devices with the word ‘core’ in the name. Do not try this guide unless you have the exact Core Plus variant or else you could brick your device.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
Download the Samsung USB Drivers for mobile phones from our page here. You’ll find the USB driver link down the page that directs you to the Samsung downloads page from the official Samsung website. Should you wish to try and alternate driver, you can download Koush’s universal USB driver from the same page.Double check that you do already have the Developer Options menu and the USB Debugging Mode enabled. First you must go to the Settings and check if the Developer Options list is there. If you don’t see the Developer Options from the Settings menu, click through to the About Device menu from the Settings. Now tap over the build number 7 times and it will tell you that you have no become a Developer. That’s a fancy way of telling you that the Developer Options menu is now available from the Settings. So, head back to the Settings and enter the Developer Options menu. Now check the box for the USB Debugging Mode.
